Back to NewsThe inclusion of women in trades not only fosters diversity and equality but also brings varied perspectives and skills to the industry, enriching it for the benefit of all. Henley High School would like to encourage our female students to consider registering for a free 4-day program that seeks to immerse them into the world of construction.
What?
A free 4-day program aimed at providing exposure to various construction pathways including carpentry, wall and ceiling lining, painting and decorating, tiling, and digital printing media. This program is generously funded by CITB, with TAFE SA delivering the training at their Tonsley Innovation District campus.
When?
The program will run in Term 2, Term 3 or school holidays, depending on registrations.
Benefits?

- Receive a White Card ticket (mandatory safety induction, valued at $140)

Requirements?
Participants must wear long sleeves, trousers, and steel-capped boots. Rest assured, all other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by TAFE SA.
