The Lyn Wright Supported Learning Centre is a regional facility catering for a maximum of 24 students with disabilities. We cater for students from Year 8 to Year 12. Placement in the Supported Learning Centre is decided by personnel from the Department for Education (DfE) in a process external to the school. The placement panel considers information from DfE psychologists, speech pathologists, private psychologists, medical professionals, and other relevant agencies.
Negotiated Education Plan (NEP) meetings are held regularly between parents and carers, teachers, students and other relevant agencies as negotiated with the parents.
Students with disabilities and learning difficulties will be given additional support and curriculum modifications where necessary enabling all students to access the curriculum at Henley High School. Curriculum Differentiation is a focus in meeting needs of all students with Special Needs at Henley High School.
